You have full control of how it renders, short date, long date, whatever you need. Good documentation to get you started, and their website is extremely user-friendly. "I have looked at lots and lots of date picker components for ASP.NET--basically all I could find Googling. All of the commercial datepicker components I have looked at had severe downsides/drawbacks making none of them useful to me for one or more of the following reasons:

1. Overpriced--cost too much to use for multiple websites.
2. Excessive documentation--I don't want to read a 400 page document
   on how to use it--it's a datepicker not an operating system.
3. Not cross browser compatible--something vital to me. Some were so bad a graphic could not be rendered in Netscape or Firefox.
4. A graphic footprint that was just too large.
5. Licensing rules only an attorney could figure out.
6. Some were possibly useable but with some features I wanted that were missing or obscure or not documented so not really ready to use out-of-the-box.

None of the above comments apply to your datepicker. You have a winner because you have what developers want, need and expect."
